A little about Cyber Match...
New York City has an interesting assortment of official and unofficial nicknames. “The City That Never Sleeps” was first used in a 1912 article in the Fort Wayne News. “New York, New York”, the name of Fred Ebb’s song and Martin Scorsese’s 1977 film, further reinforced this association.
The city never sleeps. Nor does NYPD. There’s been those recent cases. Ongoing investigations, still unsolved … Sammy Jo Turner, NYPD Forensics, remains closely connected through her lab testing. Her propensity for sleuthing comes through as she assists their Cybercrime Unit with online criminal activities.
Who are these perpetrators? How widespread are these cybercrimes? Is there really such a thing as a Cyber Match?
Twists and turns abound. The investigators take one step forward, several steps back. Is the Cybercrime Unit taking too many risks? Are there more victims out there? How many types of cyber scams exist? Will justice be served?
Real life experiences inspired me to write Cyber Match. This is my third Sammy Jo Turner mystery. This series is comprised of independent stories that may be read in any sequence.
